The main production processes of pipeline steel are: conventional semi-continuous hot rolling, CSP continuous casting and rolling, medium plate unit, furnace coil unit. semi-continuous rolling mill: including 1-stand furnace coil mill and 5-stand finishing mill. In the semi-continuous mill, the strip in the finishing passes experienced by the hot rolling from one end of the strip to the other end is essentially constant. The time between passes in a finishing mill is usually less than 3s.
Pipeline steel is mainly used in the manufacture of pipelines for the transportation of oil, natural gas and other fluids, and its use environment is characterized by the following: temperature environment: normal temperature environment, low temperature environment, high temperature environment. Pressure environment: internal pressure, external pressure. Corrosive environment: soil corrosion, medium corrosion, atmospheric corrosion.
